Welcome to the Eastern Edge of Cheshire, where the scenery ranges from the leafy villages of South Manchester on the Cheshire Plain to the stunning landscapes and panoramic views of the Peak District.
Virtual Construction worked with Macclesfield Borough Council to create this East Cheshire tourist information and promotion website. The site is updated by the Council, and also the nearly 100 members of the Peaks and Plains Tourism Association.
The site enjoys great rankings in search engines such as Google and generating real revenue for the area and it's many small businesses, museums, café's and gardens.
Features such as the interactive map and latest weather gives visitors to the site all they need to plan their day out in the region. Plus, the website can automatically change what and how events and attractions are promoted based on the current weather conditions - ensuring the a high number of Peaks and Plains website visitors become East Cheshire visitors.
