Greendrops and Moonsquirters
When Manchester Art Gallery wanted a site to promote "the completely must see show of the summer" they came to us to create a microsite as lively, unqiue and appealing as their new interactive exhibition - Greendrops and Moonsquirters - The Utterly imaginative world of Lauren Child.
The site not only promotes the exhibition of work by the internationaly accliamed Lauren Child - the Booker Prize wining children's book author with cartoon series on the Disney Channel and the BBC - but also generates sign ups to the galleries families newsletter for which it has created hundreds of signups.
The site also includes the child friendly game Find the Guinea Pig, which encourages repeat visits, gives children a flavour of Lauren's work and the activities in the hands on exhibition, and above all gets the site promoted through word of mouth marketing.
